NewIntroducing NN AI — governed intelligence across your business data, reports, documents, and workflows.Explore NN AI →

Enterprise intelligence requires enterprise control.

The application, database, document, and workflow layers you already run determine what can be accessed. NN AI's agent processes only the authorized context supplied for a given task — the model is never the security boundary.

Shared responsibility

Access decisions stay where they already live.

Your application, database, document-permission, and workflow layers decide what can be reached. NN AI's planner is only ever handed the slice of context a specific, authorized task requires.

Your systems keep control

Row-level SQL security, document ACLs, and application roles are enforced on every retrieval path — the same rules that govern your team today.

The model is not the boundary

Access is resolved before any content reaches an AI provider. A model cannot request data it hasn't been authorized to see.

Processing flow

What happens between a question and an answer.

Every request moves through the same governed sequence: permission check, authorized retrieval, agentic planning, evidence verification, and — only if configured — a controlled action.

How we approach AI processing.

AI processing notice

What we tell every user before AI processes their request.

To generate a response, NN AI may send a prompt, uploaded files, relevant business context, and the generated output to one or more approved cloud AI providers, which process this information on our behalf to deliver and secure the service.

We do not permit AI providers to use customer content to train or improve foundation models unless separately disclosed and authorized. Continue only if you are authorized to submit the information involved. Full terms are documented in our AI Processing Notice.

Bring your security team into the conversation early.

We'll walk through the permission model, data flow, and governance controls against your own architecture.
